TITANIC THE EXHIBITION RENEWS LEASE AT THE MERCADO FOR 2003

ORLANDO, FL -- Due to overwhelming public response to its addition of new authentic artifacts, Titanic The Exhibition has renewed its lease for 2003 at International Drive's The Mercado Mediterranean Village.

Titanic The Exhibition originally planned to vacate its space at the 142,000 square feet marketplace in November, but with the addition of new artifacts in October, extended its stay until December 31. Due to the positive response, Titanic The Exhibition is now slated to remain at The Mercado through 2003.

"Titanic continues to be a key tenant for us and we are pleased to have this one-of-a-kind attraction showcased at our center," said Juan Ramirez, asset manager for The Mercado. "We have big plans for The Mercado in 2003 and Titanic The Exhibition plays an integral part in making them happen."

The additions of authentic artifacts from the Titanic came from the world-renowned private collections of Stanley Lehrer, Gary Robinson and Craig A. Sopin. Lehrer, the founder and former publisher of USA Today, is known for having the largest collection of Titanic artifacts worldwide. Robinson and Sopin are known for having two of the finest collections in the world and have been featured in various media worldwide.

"The response to our addition of these prestigious collections has been outstanding and we are excited about what 2003 has in store for us," said Lisa Diaz, sales and marketing manager for Titanic The Exhibition. "We are pleased to remain a part of The Mercado family."

The Mercado, a 142,000 square-feet entertainment, dining and shopping festive world marketplace, is located on Orlando’s popular International Drive, one-half mile south of Sand Lake Road (I-4, exit #29) at 8445 South International Drive. Parking is free and the complex is easily identified by The Mercado tower that overlooks International Drive. The Mercado is home to Titanic - The Exhibition. In December 2002, The Mercado will welcome the Hard Rock Vault to its lineup of fine restaurants, shops and attractions.
